Olympic medals, World Cup victories, podiums: 76 winning moments for VAN DEER–Red Bull Sports

Our athletes stood on the podium 76 times over the past winter. At the Olympic Games, they made an immediate statement by winning gold, silver and bronze. On top of that, they delivered wins and podium finishes across Alpine skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined on the World Cup circuit.

The results of the 2025/2026 season continue the strong progress of recent years. After successful appearances at the 2023 and 2025 World Championships, the Olympic Games in Milano/Cortina marked the team’s debut on the biggest stage in winter sports. Ski jumper Philipp Raimund claimed gold on the normal hill, Eirin Maria Kvandal took silver in the women’s large hill event, and Henrik Kristoffersen secured bronze in the men’s slalom.

Team VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports: strong at the Olympics, strong on the World Cup stage

The small but highly competitive VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports team also proved its strength across all disciplines in the World Cup. In ski jumping, Philipp Raimund, Eirin Maria Kvandal (best female ski jumper of the season), Daniel Tschofenig, Lisa Eder, Selina Freitag and teammates combined for 46 podium finishes. In Nordic combined, Stefan Rettenegger and Vinzenz Geiger added another eleven podiums.

There were also encouraging signs in Alpine racing. Timon Haugan remained among the world’s elite despite ongoing back issues – a level he has consistently maintained since switching to Marcel Hirscher’s equipment. His season highlights include a slalom win in Val d’Isère, second place in Alta Badia, third in Levi, and five additional top-five finishes in Alta Badia, Adelboden, Wengen, Schladming and most recently at the World Cup Finals in Hafjell.

At the same time, the next generation is stepping up within VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports. Sweden’s Fabian Ax Swartz (22) delivered consistent top-20 results in the second half of the season. Spain’s Aleix Aubert Serracanta (20) scored his first World Cup points with a 24th-place finish in Alta Badia and went on to win bronze at the Junior World Championships in Narvik.

Looking back, Henrik Kristoffersen’s Olympic bronze stands out as a symbol of a remarkable success story. With the Alpine World Cup Finals, his highly successful four-year partnership with VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports comes to an end.

A joint decision at the right time.

Toni Giger, COO at VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports: “With his outstanding performances in our first World Cup season, Henrik played a crucial role in helping VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports quickly establish itself in ski racing – our journey together has been extremely successful. In elite sport, development and change are key drivers: that is why we have jointly decided to end our partnership after four years – it is the right time. As a team, we wish him all the best for his future career.”

“I am grateful to the VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports team for everything we have achieved together over the past four years. World Championship gold, the overall Slalom World Cup title, Olympic bronze, 25 podium finishes – that’s a truly impressive record. The decision to end our partnership now was not an easy one for us. We have come to the joint conclusion that it is the right decision, as it will give us all new impetus and perspectives.”

In 2022, Henrik Kristoffersen joined the new ski start-up and racing team of his former biggest rival, Marcel Hirscher. His podium finish in his debut race in Sölden was followed by six World Cup victories, 18 top-three finishes, World Championship gold in 2023, the small slalom Crystal Globe in 2024/2025 and, as a bonus this year, Olympic bronze.
