Successful Start in Sölden: Henrik Kristoffersen Secures 2nd Place, Marcel Hirscher Makes His Return
After a strong second run, Timon Haugan claimed 12th place, while Marcel Hirscher thrilled fans with his passionate project, finishing 23rd – including the third-fastest race time in the second run.

MARCEL HIRSCHER RETURNS AFTER 5 YEARS
Following a five-year break, the much-anticipated “Mission Marcel” caused quite a stir in Sölden. Wearing bib number 34, he proved he could still compete at the highest level with a 23rd place finish and an impressive third-best time in the second run. Marcel beamed with joy, and it was clear how much he enjoyed being back. Fans, the team – everyone was thrilled to see him back in action.
HENRIK KRISTOFFERSEN HAS BIG PLANS THIS SEASON
Henrik Kristoffersen started with great confidence, proving his strength with a second-place finish. With his fiancée Tonje and son Emil watching on, he showed what is possible this season. The equipment is perfect, the preparation spot-on, and ambitions are high. The plan is clear: to be right up there at the front!
“The equipment is working perfectly,” Henrik enthused at the finish. “The VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports team has put a lot of effort into the setup, and even during training here in Sölden, everything felt great."
To perform so well in the first race is simply sensational.
