WOW-WINTER ON THE PODIUM: 113 VICTORY CELEBRATIONS IN ONE SEASON
"Impossible is not an option" – this is the hands-on principle at VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports and AUGMENT. This team is here to stay and to make a difference in the alpine and nordic skiing world. Mission on: The third World Cup season since its founding by Marcel Hirscher has become the most successful Wow-Winter to date, with exactly 113 victory celebrations.

36 wins in alpine and nordic disciplines, 113 times our athletes stood on a winners’ podium this past winter:
What has been achieved in such a short time makes me grateful and happy for the entire team
says VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports founder Marcel Hirscher.

The development curve, which began with his idea of creating his own skis in June 2021, is steep – and the core recipe for success sounds simple: "Impossible is not an option! Our company mindset can be summed up in this one simple phrase. Our uncompromising commitment to quality isn’t always convenient, but it’s what connects us all, what drives us forward together, and what made last winter’s incredible results possible in the first place," Marcel Hirscher praises the team spirit at VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports and AUGMENT.

A team that is here to stay – and to make a difference on World Cup slopes, ski jumps, and anywhere skiing is practiced. The “quality over quantity” strategy has paid off for this powerful mini-team in the 2024/2025 winter season. In the Nordic disciplines, VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports and AUGMENT athletes (AUGMENT celebrates its 10th brand anniversary this year) stood on the podium a total of 60 times, with 20 victories among them. At the Nordic Ski World Championships in Trondheim, they celebrated 23 medals, including five golds. Additionally, Daniel Tschofenig won both the Four Hills Tournament and the overall World Cup in ski jumping, while Andi Wellinger triumphed in the Raw Air series in Norway. Vinzenz Geiger, in his first year on VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports jumping skis, claimed the overall World Cup title in Nordic combined.

Not the most athletes, but the right ones – the lineup matters. What applies to the Nordic unit is doubly true for the alpine team. The two-man show starring Henrik Kristoffersen and Timon Haugan secured 14 podium finishes and 6 victories in the World Cup this past winter. In the final slalom of the season, Henrik Kristoffersen also claimed the small crystal globe in slalom – the fourth in his career and the first for his ski brand. A true archetype of the brand, Timon Haugan had his strongest season yet with three individual slalom victories. After Charlie Raposo retired, Timon Haugan is the oldest athlete in the VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports team; since he has been racing on “Hirscher material”, his performance has been steadily improving.
The Next Generation at VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports is following suit: The 21-year-old Swede Fabian Ax Swartz achieved the rare feat of winning a bronze medal at both the Junior Ski World Championships in Tarvisio and the Ski World Championships in Saalbach on VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports skis (Giant Slalom / Team event). Spaniard Aleix Aubert Serracanta is establishing himself better and better in the European Cup: first podium place in Zinal (SUI), at the World Ski Championships in Saalbach he wrote Spanish skiing history as the youngest qualifier for a second run - his emotional highlight of the winter was giant slalom gold at the Universiade (Winter World University Games) in Turin.
